WORKING WITH CHILDREN

When you are volunteering at Emmaus Catholic Primary School (eg Parent Helper, Canteen Volunteer, all school excursions) you need to have a current Working with Children Check and have completed a Volunteer Application Form, which includes signing our Code of Conduct.  Our procedure for volunteering at Emmaus is as follows: 

  • Complete the Emmaus Catholic Primary School “Volunteer Application Form” and return to office, along with your WWCC card, to allow us to take a photocopy.

  • Sign the register folder at the front office when you arrive at school.

  • Register your Working with Children Check card number in the column provided.

  • You will be given a Parent Helper/Visitor lanyard. Please place your current Working with Children Check card in the plastic slot on the lanyard.

  • This lanyard is to be worn for the duration of your time at Emmaus.

  • Please return lanyard, taking out your card and sign your leaving time in the register folder at the front office.

When you select “Volunteer” there is no cost involved.
