PArent access module | pam
SIMON is a Learning Management Software solution for primary and secondary schools and is utilised by our staff to record student attendance and prepare semester assessment reports.
The SIMON Parent Access Module (PAM) provides parents online access to the multiple modules that the school uses through the SIMON platform.
Families can log into PAM to record absences, add a transport pass for occasional bus travel or make a temporary change to existing transport schedules. Any permanent changes will need to be communicated to the administration team via phone or email. School reminders will be displayed on PAM “Daily Messages” and newsletters will be accessible in PAM “Knowledge Bank”.
The benefits of using PAM:
· Parents can view and manage all their children from the one login
· Parents can record absences directly into the “Parent Notified Absences”, being the SIMON attendance system
· Parents can view attendance
· Parents can view transport schedules; add a transport pass for occasional bus travel or make a temporary change to existing transport schedules directly into “Transport Passes”, being the SIMON transport pass system
· Parents can view sick bay attendance slip in “Sick Passes”
· Parents can view messages in “Daily Messages”
· Parents can view student reports in “Assessment Reports”
· Parents can view newsletters in “Knowledge Bank”
