CATHOLIC EDUCATION BALLARAT - ENROLMENTS FOR 2023 FOUNDATION
To ensure that every family has the appropriate opportunity to enrol their child, all Ballarat Catholic Primary Schools collaborate throughout the process of Foundation (Prep) Enrolment. Information collected through the enrolment process is collated on a common database, which is shared by the Catholic Primary Schools in Ballarat.
The application process for 2023 Foundation (Prep) Enrolments:
1. Register for a school tour by clicking here.
2. Register your interest in enrolling your child at a catholic school in the City of Ballarat by completing an online “City of Ballarat Expression of Interest for Enrolment” form found here. At this stage, you will be able to nominate Emmaus Catholic Primary School as your first preference.
Enrolment for 2023 Foundation year (prep) students is now open.
Completing this form does not guarantee that an enrolment offer will be made.
At Emmaus Catholic Primary School, a school tour is mandatory for all new families.
Current Covid guidelines require any visitors to school to be vaccinated (at least two doses). Please note the tour on Tuesday, 15th March is outside of school hours and may suit affected families.
Visitors are also asked to wear a mask while attending the tour.

Thursday, 5th May 7:00pm - Zoom Q&A. This is not a full school tour but a chance for parents/carers to touch base with any questions they might have. Please register for this event and details will be emailed to you.
Enrolment enquiries for year levels 1 - 6 please call our office on 5330 2266.
Once enrolments close and first round placement offers are sent, families will have the opportunity to complete an 2023 Enrolment form online.
KEY DATES - 2023 Enrolment
Foundation (Prep) enrolment applications open: Wednesday, 9th February, 2022
First deadline for enrolments: Friday, 27th May, 2022
School principals meet to determine allocation of placements: Friday, 3rd June, 2022
First round placement offers sent: Friday, 10th June, 2022
Written acceptance of enrolment from parents: Friday, 24th June, 2022
Each Catholic Primary School will make offers of enrolment in line with their own Enrolment Policy, which take into consideration a variety of factors.
